Maiden Test for Delfino in the UK!
The first test of the new for 2010 KKC Delfino kart took place at Whilton Mill this month.
With new MSA approval to be brought in for Bambino racing in the UK next season, it was
crucial to get some feedback on the package before launching the product in England.
Driven by a 6 year old novice, the kart proved manageable and enjoyable for the child.
The kart completed 30 laps of the 450m Whilton Mill short circuit, with 11 corners in a
respectable 42.07 seconds. The kart gave massive enjoyment to the youngster, with enough
acceleration, braking power, and grip to give them good experience of circuit driving.
Since the first test, the first KKC Delfino has covered 3 hours worth of testing time,
with no mechanical breakdowns or issues. Running temperatures (brakes, engine, tyres)
are low, to keep child safety to a maximum.
‘We are very happy with the initial testing of the Delfino kart here at KKC’s home circuit,
Whilton Mill. I now honestly believe that we have a product to better any other on the
market. The reliability and build quality are excellent and running costs extremely low.
No other kart will offer the same pound for pound value in the Bambino class, especially
with our special offer packages available to help the influx of young drivers into the sport.
We will now work hard to roll out our Delfino clubs, allowing owners to use their karts at
a non MSA level throughout the country, as well as working closely with circuits who will
welcome the Bambino class to their MSA club meeting schedules in 2010 to ensure that the
class is run fairly and in the interests of our customers.‘
Tom Smith, KKC Marketing Manager.
Karts are available already, and pricing structures for all packages and spares will be set,
keeping costs to a minimum for our customers. Test drivers are also available here at Whilton
Mill, and will be bookable at other circuits in the near future.
